Default Deep ****ysis Option in DVD Shrink

sponsored links

I made a backup of Matrix Reloaded using DVD Shrink 3 Beta 5 with the deep ****ysis option checked. Everything turned out fine. But now I want to backup the the movie again (have ripped the files on the hdd) with different compression but when I click on backup, the deep ****ysis option is greyed out. So I put a different movie in and clicked on backup and the option was available. Then I opened the Matrix Reloaded file again and went to backup and the option is greyed out. What gives?

I am unable to rip the movie again since the dvd is so scratch that it doesn't even read it anymore.

IIRC, you only need to do the deep ****ysis once for each movie - the data is stored on your system. Therefore the deep ****ysis has already been performed, so you don't need to do it again.

(At least I think that's what happens)

So if I back it up a second time, I won't get the same quality as the first time since deep ****ysis is unavailable? So if I am able to read the DVD again and rip it, will the option still be greyed out even with a fresh rip?

And using re-author still doesn't give me the option.

No, you don't understand - you only need to do deep ****ysis once. The deep ****ysis data is saved on your pc so anystuff you do to that disk later on will also be done using deep ****ysis.

Yup, I ran into the same issue doing a backup of clear and present danger. I was all stressed out because I really needed to do the Deep ****ysis but it refused to give me the option. It turned out just as solid though.
