When I use the CD Identifier that is free with my drive (Liteon) it gives you a recomendation with what speed to burn discs at. The Bulkpaq are 40x branded but with safeburn on you will not be able to go above 12x. True, you can turn it off, but surely if a drive manufacturer says 12x then I would think errors a-plenty if you go higher.
I have about 15 different brands of CD-R here and the Bulkpaq are the lowest rated (by the Liteon app) despite being branded higher that every other CD-R. Disc Planet 40 Datasafe 40 Princo 40 etc etc Bulkpaq 12.
Still they arent much dosh so you pays yer money...
