Sadly it seems to be that way at present m8. But if members don't start reading them they won't find what they are really looking for with the forum being bogged down by the same 5 or six questions every damn day.

Please all do yourselves a favour by reading the FAQ's or doing a search first before posting a new thread. 85 times out of 100 it's been asked many, many times before.

I just got the scph 39001 and i think its a ver 6 but the diagrams i seen for ver 6 dont match mine???? right around the big chip on the board that says sony there is a pin that just about evey diargam i seen has it but my board dont have that pin??? any one know of a chip for this model?? i also tried the cog swap but guess what. there is no white cog??? i also opened the drive lid and tried a swap with my GS 1.9 and it still didnt work. the system goes right to the red fire screen and says to pop in a ps2 or playststion disc. any help with this model would be appreated!!!

39001 are v7, there are no modchips that will work for those models yet.
