Just thinking of getting one of these but i was hoping someone could help me out on a couple of queries:::

Is this player macrovision disabled?

What does it play (eg, svcd/dvdr/cdr)

I would be grateful for any info... thanx

I haven't personally got one, but I know you can disable macrovision, and I thought it just about plyed everthing you threw at it. Only negative thing I heard is it is noisey

Default Dansai

I've got a Dansai and it's played anything I've put in it so far, including SVCDs - the macrovision and region hack is easy too. The only problem I have with it is the annoying Tesco helpline screen which it has.

Thanx to everyone...Kid Galahad, i tried that site and it was a great help...It doesen't seem noisy though???

scoobysnacks, you are right, it's a cool player...the Tesco bit on the mainscreen is a bit of a bummer, but at the price i paid, i'll put up with it.

cheers all.
