Have you tried running defrag and scandisk prior to installation? Or maybe you've got too many programs running in the background, try shutting those down also.

Default H i M8y

I think the total install for this game is around the 1.2 gig , so it is gonna take a while , but your time seems a bit excessive , Take the disk back m8 or install it on someone elses machine see if there is any difference , hope this helps , it is originally on 2 disks as well but you probably no that

it's a backup mate !

when it get's to the 11% mark the dvd goes into extreme intense reading of the disk after about 30 minutes it had only got to about 23% so i cancelled the installation and had a look at the disk, it look ok, but was really hot .

i have had this while installing other games but nowhere near as bad as this

Hi Ya

Sounds like a bit of a duff disk there m8 , or maybe a hardware problem, A friend of mines dvd drive would not read any bongie disks , don't know why , borrow another cd drive try that , as it is not to hard or time consuming to swap em over , Hope that helps
