By far, stealth is the best way to go. Once it's installed, there shouldn't be any need to swap disks. I believe Import Player may be needed for import games, it's available for download at www.megagames.com, it'll work fine once you get the chip installed. Good luck!

http://www.psxrepair.co.uk/

chips £2.95 and 35p postage
i've had a few off them now with no problems and they have a help line that u can ring for free advice

they also say that their 8 wire ps1 chip does not require a disc to play any games

for the uk all you need is a standard modchip , wired in 5 wire mode ( 2 wires from pin 5 ) , or 3 wires and use the link wire method instead

you dont need a stealth chip , or stealth mode on a uk psx !!

techtrix are very good for chips and have diagrams on their site , they will even fit it for you if you wish

also consider

http://www.interesting-devices.com/

http://www.modchips-uk.com/

the only swaps you will need are on games with more than 1 disk
