Thanks for the help. Just a few more questions...What is nandub? Where can I get XMpeg? When using the program does it base what DivX codec it uses internally or is that based on what I have in my system or some other factor. How can I make sure that they are DivX 4.xx or 5.xx instead of 311?

Nandub is a modified version of Virtual Dub, it supports 2 pass DivX 311alpha encoding, as well as MS MPEG4 v2.

Both Flask and XMpeg allow you to select from codecs installed on your system.

As to where to download them...

Well I tried FlaskMpeg and the program keeps giving me an error or just quitting everytime I start to do a movie. I still can't find where to get the other program XMpeg...

It is on the same page, you willl also need the CCS addon so that you can encode directly from the DVD... also found on the link I already provided.

Downloaded both XMpeg and the addon but how do I install the addon?

Just put it in the directory with XMPEG.
