pc game problem help needed

ok i formatted my pc and installed all the necessary drivers needed to run the latest games.
but everytime i try to play return to castle wolfenstein it keeps crashing on the main title screen.
it comes up a blue screen and vxd errors ? then i have no alternative to press reset ive tryed everything to solve this problem .
the weird thing is sometimes the games plays perfect then other times it wont work at all.

another thing is when i reboot 50 percent of the time it will reboot but the other 50 percent it will hang on a black screen till i press reset, and i have to press it a good few times before it will reboot?
ive tryed changing memory but still no joy
ahhhh help needed please



amd athlon 1.1ghz
2 40 gig h/d
128 mg 133 sdram
k7s5a m/board
nvidea 32 mg graphics

u try a different video card?Borrow a friends for an hour and check it out.I think vxd is something to do with graphics but im not sure.Make sure you got the latest drivers for your card.
