Default .cdi file help needed on mac

sponsored links

I have had some luck with .cdi files when using CDIrip 0.6.1 for mac. The ones that worked were extracted to 1 (one) or 2 (two) data files (iso images?). These data files mounted in toast 5 without problems. I was also able to burn these without problems. I have many other back up game files that are in .cdi format; when extracted with CDIrip, there are a few different things that happen, a few games have 1 (one) audio file, which actually has no audio, and 1 (one) data file which is not mountable by toast 5. The other scenario is multiple audio files that do have sound, anywhere from 12 (twelve) to 33 (thirty-three) files along with 1 (one) data file which is mountable by toast.

I am looking for suggestions on how to burn the game files which have the 1 (one) audio file, no sound, and 1 (one) data file and the multiple audio files plus 1 (one) data file games.

Thanks in advance.

The small, unuseble audio file is the file from the first session of a self-booting game. The audio makes the game self boot, the second session is the data (the game). The one with a small, unuseable data dfile is also a self-boot image. It is used in making what are called "dat-data"selfboots. They are usually a long data session (the game) followed by a smaller one that makes the game selfboot. The ones with alot of audio files are games with cd-audio (CDDA).

I am not sure how to burn these with toast, but you would have to make a multi-session cd some how and put the audio and data in the correct order (audio then data for one kind and big data then small data for the other kind). Sorry I can't be more help maybe this post should be in the mac forum, as you may get more help there.
