we cant really tell you how long its gonna be. Its up to the ripping groups, it could take day, weeks or months. Just look at WRC as a example took a couple of months.

It depends on how badly protected it is.

Of course thei're trying. If they can waste time with boring games like brittneys whatever the game's name is,or some japaneese import that hasn't even sold one copy i think they'll try to release on the best ps2 games.I mean not only does the game look amasing but it seems to have awesome gameplay too.I'll probably buy the game though,it worth it.

It probably won't be ripped - if you look back over time, most games that have been ripped are done and released within several days of the official launch, sometimes even before!

It is unusual to see a rip come out a week or more beyond launch.

And, I doubt protection is the issue - given the TOC size of thise game, a 1CD version would be extremely difficult, and it would be difficult to remove anything since racing games tend to be non-linear. Remember also that the game offers integration of FMV sequences with you real time performance, so these would probably have to go

Same story appears true with Test Drive, although it was much smaller and I would have though removing the audio might have got it down to 1CD (it worked for the Xbox version at least..)

Expect to see more and more of this - the ultimate copy protection will be making a game so big that it can't fit onto a CD. May soon be time to invest in a DVD burner....
