I'm sure Sony would argue the fact that THERE computers can create digital music (with appropriate software) from scratch and therefore being your own creation, then can burned to THERE cd'rs, MP3 players and such like. Wasn't that the intention of digital music in the first place?

and with that i think i'll leave this thread as we are straying a bit.....

You make good points. Sony is against all the coping of games and music and such but then turns right around and gives us ALL the tools to make the copies... I don't get it. That's big business I guess..... (double standard maybe? No, not Sony..... lol)

BTW... from what I've been reading it's perfectly legal to modchip your system if you want to do so... (afterall it is yours now)

If it weren't for Windows I wouldn't be able to copy video games, lol. MS can sue themselves.

I've read on alot of sites that you have 24hrs to destroy a backup after you get rid of the original. But after skimming those legal articles I didn't see anything about it. Is that just some rumor that someone started and everyone else decided it was true?
