That's odd because i am holding the delete key down the whole time but it just reboots normally... is there another way to enter into BIOS?

Watch the screen as your PC boots up, you'll see a message along the lines of 'press delete to enter setup', however not every BIOS uses the delete key, some use a function key (F1 - F12), also don't hold the key down, just press it a couple of times when you see the prompt.

Okay i got into BIOS Mode and went through but couldn't find the "IDE Devices." I found my cd burner and clicked on it but there weren't any settings for DMA.

Sorry about the separate post... i should have put this with the previous one. I do see PIO 4 in the setup but when i scroll down it skips over it and i can change its properties. Is there any way to get around this?

Okay i was able to switch it to DMA 1 and that didn't work... then switched it to DMA 2 and that didn't work either. Could it possible be that the laser is faulty or the CD-Rw is faulty?
