ok, it took 1hour and 1 minute to burn the gba emulator on a dvd-rw. Is the normal?

hmm, dvd-rw speeds may differ. did you disable the test and verify?? I have tha a03 and my times are nothing like that. i haven't burnt any -rw but my -r disks take maybe 30min at most.

ya, disabled test and verify. When I started to burn the gba emulator it said the estimate time would be 5min and it took an hour. I will try with some different media tommorow, but I doubt that is the problem.

DVD-RW burns at 1X speed, so expect it to take a while.

Burning a full dvdr 4.7 gb should take around 1 hour at 1x and 30 min at 2x, dont burn games on the fly create an bin and cue image on your hard drive and burn from that, helps cut down on errors

it takes around an hour for a full dvd-r at 1X. If you turned on test and VERIFY, that takes another 30 minutes(verify is done at 2X). It takes another couple of minutes to initialize and finanlize the disc. At 1X, primoDVD should be incrementing at about 1.5 meg/sec.
