Default Gamecube discs - what OS can read em

sponsored links

What format is the data on GC discs stored in? - It can be read using a fat 32 os so what OS can it be read from?

Does anyone know if the data on GC discs is compressed?
I was told the discs can store up to 1.5GB of data BUT thats compressed data!

Also what OS can read these discs?
Ive tried the discs in my PC but the only info about sonic adventure 2 battle using my DvD drive is -

no one has been able to read the data on any operating system m8 - its similar to the dreamcast discs where the data in a compressed-like state and is not readable by a standard cd/dvd drive (so far!!!)
