VHS Ripped to VCD Sound on PC but not on DVD Player ??

Ripped a VHS video to VCD and encoded it with TMPEG encoder, and when it is played on a PC with (media player or Powerdvd) sound is ok but when it is played in some dvd players there doesnt seem to be any sound.

Sound is ok in a Teac DV-4000

No Sound

Omni SLP-4000G
or
Nowa

Any idea's ?????

Have you kept the audio at the VCD standard 224kbps/44htz??

Some DVD players may not like the audio unless it is as above.

If still a problem try de-multiplexing then re-multiplexing the file with TMPEGEnc.

Or try reburning the mpg file with Nero, using standard compliance settings......had that problem with a VCD from a m8, but reburning with Nero cured it......Tony92
