The thing thats weird is I could watch the file when I open it regularly,but through VirtualDub, its all scrambled.....

When you just watch it you uise a directshow filter, virtual dub uses VFW(Video For Windows) therefor the compressor used to play the file is not the same as the one used in Virtual Dub. What does it say in Virtual Dub for the decompressor under file information??

Actually, do you mean when you choose file information? If so, decompressor says APvc [Definitive V1].
