Default Downloaded Movies to VCD

sponsored links

Hi all,

I am trying to put some downloaded films onto VCD.

I have downloaded TMPG Enc, but I can't get it to work for me.

Is there anyone who can assist me on this.

Thanks in advance.

When I try and define which file I want to use (film), I get the error "Can Not Open File or Un-supported.

All the files are avi files, which I initially had problems playing on my PC. I can now play them all, using DivX Player.

How can I get this to work, I am using version 2.57.41.146 ., which I think is the latest version.

Thanks in advance!

OK, how can I put these onto a VCD.

I have Plenty of 80min CDs. I tried going into Nero, and creating a VCD. I tried Waterboy, which is 683 mb. This wouldn't fit onto a VCD, at the bottom, it was off the screen (showing how many mins used.)

How can I get this to work?

Thanks

VCD is based on the length of the film not the size. A 683mb AVI file could be any length.

An 80min CD holds 80mins of video as a VCD.

As said download the Nimo codec pack as it should solve your problem of TMPGEnc not being able to open your AVI.

ok, thanks for that.

I am just currious, when I install the Nimo Codec, do I have to get rid of the DivX Codecs and Player I have installed?

..DivX Player is the only thing I have found which plays my files, so I wanted to check first.

Thanks
