Default which window is better 98 / XP

i'm going to updating my PC
and want to know which is the best window program to us
i'm using window 98 at the moment
but i've heard window XP has some problem
don't know what to do
can any tell my which one is better or anything eles !
should i go for XP are stick with 98 ?????

XP Is much greater. Of course, but if you're computer can't handle it, go for 2000 Pro with SP3 (Service Pack 3).

Why don't you try dual booting? That way you can see what XP or any other OS's are like before you fully implement them

Win98se ,Win me but not xp .

I installed xp on two machines & had all kinds of problems , It's not worth the bloody hassle .
All my mate's put it on then removed it cos of PROBLEMS .
Try win me , i dont seem to have any trouble with it .

Windows XP is definately better. Assuming you know what you're doing... it's more stable, rarely crashes, faster, and more secure then 98 will ever be.
