Default what antivirus program is tha best

what do u guys recommend Nortons antivirus or Mcfree Antivirus. An sorry if this is not the proper area for this post.

I recomend neither in fact.

All A/V software apart from one have exactly the same disadvantage, they of course only have one A/V scanning engine. I use F-Secure V5.40 which has *3*, F-Protect, Orion & AVP. IMHO it's the Rolls-Royce of A/V software and sniffs out stuff that most of the others cannot.

I recommend Norton Antivirus 2002.

I use Norton Antivirus 2002 might try (F-Secure V5.40) as Lazza says its better.

I've always used Norton and found it to do the trick.
NEver had a virus get though yet, but Its found many trying to get through.

I use Norton and find it is fine, have used AVP & F-secure (i think they are basically the same tho as i think they both use Kaspersky bases?) before but have found Norton much easier to update / configure. I do have Norton running on a mail server tho and it can slow the system down when if actually finds a virus coming in. Small price to pay tho i spose.
