Is it possible to have this?! I tried to put my black hawk down ona tape and got what looks like the results of macrovision. This is the widescreen screener version of the film. Its wierd cos my Vanilla sky screener works the same! Cheers for any help!

I don't think it's macrovision you're seeing.
Most likely, the format of the VCD is not the same as your television. Does it show in black and white.

It could be the dvd player which you have the cd in causing the macrovision - i believe some players put it on all output, not just protected dvds.
