Has anyone copied black hawk down vcd to vhs and if so how?

I don't think the prob is macro, I think the vcd is NTSC and your trying to copy it to a PAL video. This would give you the black and white picture trouble.

I have coverted black hawk to pal using nero and still it copies in black and white and jumping also my video is ntsc compatible .

VCD's have no region coding or anything like that m8. My wharfdale says it is a PAL disk anyway!

What is stopping this vcd copying to vhs ,I didn't think it was the encoding ntsc or pal and as I have said I am using a scart lead that removes macro and still no joy it's very frustrating

i had the same problem so i had to tinker around with it. My Graphics card is g force 2 mx400 This is what i did :-

1. Go to the display properties (background,screensaver etc.)

2. Click on the settings tab at the bottom right theres a tab saying advanced click on this and this will take you to your graphics card settings

3. i went to the tab saying twin view theres 2 choices of monitor modes standard or clone i clicked the clone tab then there are two monitors on screen i clicked the right hand screen then you get a choice to change pal, ntsc, or whatever you like and option to change if its s video, composite video out i chose this and it worked for me.
