Perhaps they'll have multiple discs that can flash the BIOS? Or maybe you can have the boot disc, have a BIOS image on another disc, which would be loaded via the boot disc and could flash the BIOS? It's possible, but I really doubt it'll be any type of disc. It'll probably be like the no-solder PS2 chip, only better.

It claims to be non solder though and I think to flash the onboard bios you need to solder 2 points together inside the xbox, so it must be the chip itself that is flashable.
Also, I'm pretty sure that it won't just plug into a port - you'll probably have to install it internally.

Well I found out today that one of my game hookups (owns a local videogame shop) is good friends with the owner of gamegizmo.com and he told me that the Xodus plugs into some port on the Xbox and can flash the BIOS, he didn't say much more than that as I'm sure he doesn't know everything about it, but it is some sort of chip, and not a disc.

Interesting. As I said though, I'm sure two points have to be connected inside for the onboard bios to be flashed so makbe there's some type of 'clip' you have to install.
On easybuy it states 'Installs in less than 5 minutes' but this claim was made about the Xecuter chip so it probaly does involves opening your xbox.

A boot disk is possible. The xbox bios can easily be flashed through software. Its only a matter of time.
