Default How to convert pdf files to word or similar application

sponsored links

Hi guys and girls

I am working on my first attempt at a website for my business.

I have brochures and literature (which is company info etc, and I have permission to use) and they are in PDF format. I can open them in Adobe Acrobat, but I can not copy and paste the images or the text.

I would like to convert them to word or any other application such as an image editor software, so that I can just copy and paste them into my website in jpeg format.

Can anybody offer any suggestion on how to go about this please.

Thankyou for your time and effort, much apprciated

Booboy2

Thanks a lot duffy, looks like a no go then.

No problem I will just have to ask for the source material in jpeg, and do a hell of a lot of scanning...lol

Thanks for your help, and for your answer.

Don't know what version of Acrobat you're using but I just open the file in acrobat reader 5 and select file -> export -> export images as -> tiff files.
Another option is too open the file in acrobat reader with a high screen resolution, zoom in and use print scrn to copy to clipboard and save them in photoshop.

Easy

Thank you TheCaptain2k1 you are a bloody genius!! The simple things are the ones we most forget.

Although I could not export the image, I did as you said and used the print screen, and then simply pasted the image into my image editing software, and now I can just save it as jpeg, and insert whatever I want to my site.

Thank you so much, as you can tell I am pleased...lol

Also a big thank you to gooner001, that was an extremely generous offer and if I had not had this success already then I gladly would have sent them you.

Again thanks to all of you, I can now begin to progress with my site, and get up and running.

Cheers all
Booboy2
