I've been singing the praises of Metro Street Racer ever since it was released ...personally, I still prefer the series over Gran Turismo...Sega GT is a close second, but beware, the controls are extremely touchy! If you can make a hairpin turn w/o coming to almost a complete stop w/o ramming into a side rail, then you're doing alright ...

Personally, I hated the Daytona remake...they really changed it from an arcade racer into...well...I don't know what ...Sega Rally 2 is still an excellent game, if a bit too arcadey...and as said above, Evo 4X4 is a great game if that's what you are into...

BTW, Le Mans is a beautiful game and plays great, but it just isn't my thing...

Yeah it all depends on your style.

I like the more sit-down-and-play-real-quick arcade-style racers while my gear-head of a little brother likes the more detailed games like Sega GT, f355, and Test Drive Lemans
