Its a problem with certain media the laser gets so hot the drives catch fire.

Unfortunately I cnat find the download for it so any one has a link it would be appreciated.

is that the link to the NEWEST update as earlier today i updated my firmware and its version 1.90 that one is like 1.50 or 1.55 ?

it only happens on the 4x media which we dont have over here yet.. i didnt realise that the A03 and A04 could burn at 4x anyways.

White Label Discs Branded as 2X are supposedly able to write at 4X, so this could cause a problem if you leave burning s/w set to MAX speed.
