Default Which chip is the best?????

I am new to this forum and I am in need of some help. My ps2 is a NTSC 30001 date code 0D. What is the best chip out there to buy to play all types of games and dvds. The Messiah??? I really do not want to lose any of my ps2's functions by installing a chip. I also would like to make this as easy as possible. All feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

the messiah only supports like...one ntsc version...the chances that you have that one are retty small. There's lots of otehr no swap chips that have a wider range of compatability....try the magic2 or apple chip

You are probably compatible with the Messiah chip. Btw, it is not an easy install so you may wish to get someone else to install it for you.

If you want something else (in the case you don't have a V4 that is compatible), I recommend the new Device.... it's more reliable than the magic/apple chips out there.
