Check out Foundmy's site. He started selling the new device a few weeks ago. I haven't had any problems. And unlike other sellers he tested his no-swap solution before selling (unlike the Magic dealers).

He's in Canada so shipping shouldn't be a problem (your PS2 seems North American)

Like yourself - I am also a newcomer to modchipping - I'm in London - UK - and am definately considering of mod chipping my ps2 - I dont know what type of ps2 I have - how do i find out first of all - and then I want to know the best chip that would let me play backed up games- another thing is that Im soon going to be buying a new macintosh with a superdrive ( dvd burner ) will this mean I can back up original games to blank dvd and play on a chipped ps2 without losing any original functions of my ps2 - ie orig games - playing dvd movies - can someone please advise me on what to do do - and the best possible solution - also want to know what the average price is for mod chiping and installation - [email]sunil_parmar@hotmail.com[/email]

Open up your console & compare it to pictures of known versions, thats the only way to know for sure. Also, version appears onscreen.....
