i got a fix for the virus and it said i dont have the virus, so i havent got it. but it get stucked on that folder that i showed before:
c:\windows\inf\mdmcpq\.inf
why does this happen and what is the file

the mdmcpq is a inf file for compaq modems - if you don't have a compaq modem or a model supported by this inf file, it should be ok to delete it or move it to another folder while you run tests to see if any other piece of hardware is using it.

i dont have a compaq modem i have a alcatel one(green frog) so could that be using it?
or should i just delete it?
