Ya, it's the pausing and also some games have constant graphics on same areas, such as Health Bars that never change. Burn-in's should be a thing of the past. TV's now a days are very good quality.

If you goto like goodguys and look at those TV that are on all the time. It's rare that you see burn in anymore.

Anyone tried the magnet trick people been talking about?

degausing ?

A tv does that automatically when you turn it on.

yes but if the screen has gone green due to playing games then the degausing curcuit will not fix the problem.it may also not be the xbox thats caused the problem theres a component in the tv called a thermistor that controls the degausing.i have been repairing tvs for over ten years.

Hey lhys09915... If i were to repair my HDTV..how much do you think the estimate for the parts and labor can be? I dont want to risk doing that magnet trick and damage my TV more..

the price depends on who repairs the tv most likely around 50 even though the parts will only cost 2.people have brought tvs to me saying that repair shops were charging 70 to repair a dead set when at the most i could do for 30.they will still charge a high price for something like a risistor and tell you that there was other parts faulty.

the magnet wont damage your tv aslong as you keep the magnet moving.if the screen is already green then you realy have nothing to lose.
