Find the flashpack, get a NEW 9V battery (peope reported problems with low voltage) Use WinLPC from the exodus site flash the evo.bin bios (256k blue one).

off you go!!

Perhaps you may have a defective programmer, but it's really simple.

Jaymus, I have done all of that. The red light stays on until that dll file is initialized...

hmmmmm, I dunno, I flashed it in Win XP pro using WinLPC, no problems at all. I suppose try another comp.

or did I use command prompt. Anyhow, you can always goto DOS prompt and flash manually via command line. The flashpack readme tells you how.

Yeah, i have done that a few different times, on a WIN98 and WINME computer as well, still no go...

I had no problems here, are you sure your battery is fully in?? As soon as I placed mine in the parrellel port the red light came on ... I couldnt flash under XP though as it gave me an error, but worked first time under Win98

Yeah, brand new heavy duty battery. The light comes on, but when I go to flash it, it goes off. WIN98 it is never red at all.
