Unhappy SONY HAS NOT WON (YET)

i tried for hours to remove the board of my pal v3 non-gap ps2 to solder the SCEX point on my messiah, but all in vain.
i just can't reach that screw between the board and the other little board on the bottom. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE.
i can solder all of the points except the SCEX.
if any1 knows anything about this please reply, i'm desperate.
the pal v3 is by far the hardest to do.

How do you know theres another screw??

All the screws that hold the board down are obvious to see. I think theres 4 but don't quote me on that. The plug that holds the board together is VERY tight so thats what your problem might be. Its on the other side of the board you soldered the Reset wire to, hard to explain.. Basically where you soldered the Reset wire, thats the bottom of the plug! You have to prise it apart.....

Default there is 1 screw

there is 1 screw underneath the main board. the screw its kinda in the middle of the power supply on the other side.i tried melting it a bit and it is a screw. and then its that white thing that holds the boards together. does that mean i have to melt the points around the RESET point to pull up the board?
