do u pro installers madison etc) solder the wires to the top part of the bios chip legs.. or the bottom??

im just wondering thats all!

I personally solder up the leg if you get what I mean. Strip about 2cm of wire and bend the end of it to the length of the chip leg and run the wire over the top of the chip. The soldered part of the wire runs from the bottom of the chip leg to the top and up over the chip.. Make sense?... doesn't to me!!! lol...

Hopefully you understand what I mean....

Try putting a razor blade between the legs of the chip and soldering up to it, that way theres no way you can bridge to the leg next to the one your doing....
I only strip that much wire back coz it gives you a little more room when getting all the wires into that tight space. When I've done the wires I just glue them to the top of the chip. I never glue the actual solder points just in case.....

yeh.. used the razor blade method even when doing a neo 2.2 just to play safe! worked like a dream!

All my installs I do without the razorblade It always got in my way
I used the poster sticky stuff to hold the razor blade in place but then I dont have enough room to solder when the razorblade is in place

How do you razorblade guys do it!

I just take my time and hold my breath to solder the bios points

(if someone could put up a guide to effectively use the razor blade method it might be quite useful )
