yeh... ill sell him as a slave for a premodded ps2 with messiah or magic!he doesn need a close eye keeping on him when hes holding it.. you have to stop him pressing on it.. dont want no cut tracks now!!

seriously though.. how do you actually use a razor blade by yourself?? i couldnt do it!

Must admit I've only used the razor blade method twice.. Most of the time I've just gone and soldered them straight off...

All I did with the blade was cut it down so its no more than 2mm taller than the chip itself then just let it rest between the pins and solder up to it. By the way, its a razor blade.. not a Stanley knife blade!! they are too thick!
Only put the razor in one side, I've seen a lad try to do it with a blade on both sides of the chip leg, that leaves no room to work...

some people put the "blue tack" (looks like chewing gum used to stick up posters) behind the razor blade and stick the blade between the chip legs

That will keep it in place but I still thought that was cumbersome I just did it without going through all that by just taking my time.

hmm... where do u get proper razor blades in the UK??

mine was a stanley.. but it was only in the 5+6 on a neo2.2
