I've almost done my or should I say I almost thought I had done my first dvd 2 dvd-r (oceans 11). Not only is the last 5min to 10min of the film missing which at this moment does'nt really bother but after I look at how the dvd'r will look in simulation and it works fine there I go to Export and follow what it says here in this guide > ***********.dvd2dvdr.com/part_i.htm I just keep getting when it's meant to start compiling ( pal/ntsc video format mismatch with project settings ). I use PAL

what version of windows are you using mate?
you need xp or 2000 to allow NTFS formating of your HD, and therefore allow file size larger than 4gb

SpruceUP has to be told before you start a project which format you're authoring (PAL or NTSC). It will happily let you build a PAL project and then moan as soon as you go to compile becase it was expecting an NTSC project. The project type is listed on the left panel when you go to author. To get round this, when you start SpruceUP go to File/Preferences, a window will appear with an option to specify which format the NEXT project will be (It won't work with a currently loaded/started project). Select the format you are going to author, OK it and then go File/New. Now proceed as normal and the project will compile as the format will match.
