Default XBox Version? How do I tell ...

 
I bought one of the new pack from the US.
The one with JSRF and Sega GT 2002.

How do I tell if this is one of the new version?
Will the Xodus/Matrix mod work with this version?

One last question can I force an NTSC Xbox to
produce a PAL video output?

look on the back of the xbox, if it's made before 01/08/02 then u have an older version that can be chipped, be it xodus, or wotever....

i'm guessing that the pal/ntsc converter disc should help u out with ur 3rd question...

Oh he bought the new one thats the bundle we are talking about on the forum.....if the date on it is aug 4th? or earlier you're okay.

It is dated with September 02. So I guess it is a V2.
Anyone know Xodus/Matrix will still fit the motherboard?
I know I'll need to wait on a new bios release.

Does it say what version it is onscreen? I know the ps2 does. I really don't know if those new bios versions are in the US or not yet.

Check your system info and it will tell you what version of your xbox.
