Default "Hiding" on a network

If you are on a school or work network or ISP and don't want them seeing what you are looking at online, how can you mask or protect yourself? Thanks a lot!

You can't. They can monitor the traffic as it goes through them.

If you have permission to set up your web browser to use a proxy then all that is logged is the proxies addrerss but its all still logged in temporay internet files and history. So delete them the windows method will be enough it unlikely there going to be looking in the index.dat.
