Hm... I have Windows XP and almost the same setup (HP CD-RW and DVD-ROM). When I downloaded CDRWin, I did like many above said, and let it install the ASPI drivers. It has seemed to work for me,although I have only try one burn. I just got this computer Saturday, so its been only 5-6 days. I had an old 200 MHZ, 96 MB Ram computer with an HP8110i CD-RW. Now I have a good 1.8 ghz processor with 480 MB ram. It does pretty good, just my roadrunner connection is faulty, but I believe thats in the line somewhere.

Either:

Copy and paste WINASPI32.DLL from Nero directly into your CDRwin folder,

or

Go to Golden Hawk and download the ASPI driver availiable there, and place inside the folder.

Then check the device settings, and select ASPI with CDRwin.

You may also want to check at Goldenhawk to see if your burner / DVD combo is supported by the latest CDRwin release.

Please post your results for others information
