Im using Zone Alarm Pro i find no problems with it!

Its down to personal choice. However, software based has to be Zone Alarm or if you are fancy a Linux driven one .

Nar 56k dial up your totally safe IMO.

IMO Norton 2002, slows your comp down.

I use zone alarm on a laptop running xp. Once configured it is virtually transparent in operation and has never caused me any problems.

Had Norton Internet Security running for about a year, then i figured it was tie for an update, so i decided to try try ZoneAlarm... [b]HUGE[/b] mistake.... this ZoneAlarm was driving me absolutely bonkers with those irritating reports, errors and pop-ups...

Banned the crappy thing from my system after one week, and got myself Norton Internet Security 2003. I would strongly recommend Norton... there's nothing like it!!!
