Question CDmage ... can I use this for DC games?

sponsored links

Ever since I got my DC, I have had more problems than I care to count with DJ. Only about 2 out of every 10 burns are successful, so here I sit with about 4GB of DC games on my HDD.

So while using CDmage the other day, I started to wonder if I could extract the DJ image, and then burn the files to disc in TAO mode using Nero. How likely is it that the game will work?

Limited speculation on this one please. Interested in those who have tried and/or those who have some valid info as to why it will or will not work. Big thanx if you help me out.

Have you tried converting ISO to NERO?

check out www.dccopyworld.com

Its a utility called iso2nero

I used it a lot when I was converting Non-Self Boot to Self-Boot, and it was very sucessful.

you can extract the contents of the dj image, but you will need to use mkisofs.exe to make it inot an iso then you can burn it with nero, cdrwin but it won't self boot.

that's what I was afraid of. I know Nero can do self-boot but you're saying if I rip the image, no more self-boot.
