it has to be in all caps or it won't work, and its not a necessity, but some DVD players won't play it without it. . . . which gives me an idea about another guys problem.

i have an A04 DVD-R with 1.31 firmware.

if i hooked up a pioneer 16x DVD drive, or other dvd drive,
would it be possible to make a direct copy like on clone CD?

By the way Scarnan are you still getting the bad blocks while your ripping? I have tried that once. Gotten bad blocks but burned anyway and it still didn't work.

WooT,

Yes it is, but only for other DVD-R that you are copying or movies with no encryption which is few and far between. Chances are you will have to rip them to your Hard Drive first.

wow! the guide is awesome! but i have come to a stopping point.

i am here ***********.dvd2dvdr.com/part_iii_Ifo.htm#IfoEdit

i get the cell times and then i restart IFO to author the DVD.

i choose this as my video

C:\DVD\SW2_d2v-vfapi.mpa.m2v

and for my audio

C:\DVD\ATTACK_OF_THE_CLONES_D1\VTS_05_([0X80]_AUDIO_ENGLISH_AC3(6CH)_48KHZ___NORMAL_CAPTION)_DE LAY_0MS.AC3

destination

C:\DVD\Starwars

also no subtitles

i then add the cell times and click on OK

arghhh, everytime i get a microsoft error.

i am running XP home but you mentioned something about AMD proccesors messing up, i have a XP 2100+

i did use VFAPI if that matters

how do i get this to work? i am also backing up my star wars ep 2 like you
did in the guide.

any help would be great ......
