I've burned many successful CD-R's but this is my first DVD-R. I was also thinking that maybe the media isn't compatible or something because I had a similar problem with my first CD burner.

What kind of burner do you have (make, model#) and what brand of media are you using (include the speed compatibility) ?

I have a Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-104 and I'm using Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R discs. Also, something else I just discovered in Nero when I tried to choose my burner as the recorder it says "Sorry, this Nero version can only be used with the recorder it has been bundled with" Does this mean I have to purchase the full version and I can't use the demo?

Something else I just noticed is there a difference between DVD-R and DVD+R? Because I ran the Nero Info Tool and it says that my drive doesn't support DVD+R. Could this be the problem?

Ok, you can't use DVD+R with your drive. It only accepts DVD-R. As far as Nero goes, I wouldn't even use that if you have Prassi. I hear alot of horror stories about Nero and the only DVD-R coaster I ever made was done with Nero!!

Ok I'll try to use a DVD-R disc. Hopefully it will work. Thanks everyone for all of your help.

Unhappy Problems using the CCE method

I have followed all of the instructions for the CCE method buring with Nero. The final product plays fine in my computers dvd player but when played in the home player, the sound drops in and out and the pictures jitters. Other DVD videos that I have burned using Nero are playing fine on my home player it just seems to be when using the CCE method. WHat could be causing this?
