Default Who had burn ps2 dvd to dvdr on fly?

Just read that ps2 game burn FAQ, and that are only two programs can be burn ps2 dvd game.. I had been using Nero to burn all my ps2 cdr game and wonder can it be use to burn ps2 dvd to dvdr on fly? If burn in hard disk then burn back to dvdr will take 1 hr to finish a game.. too much time. So, thank post your experience on ps2 dvd game burn. thanks!

You can burn on the fly, but it's not recommended, depending on the set up of your system, even with buffer under run protection. It's still better to do image to HD and then to DVD-R.

If you want to do on the fly, don't run anything else beside the copying job.

I don't suggest on-the-fly burning for dvdrs unless you have a duplicator. I haven't been able to accomplish this successfully yet with Nero.

as above mate it really depends on ure system and ure dvd reader , ive a xp1800 and 512 ddr 2700 mem and can copy on the fly 2x and surf the net etc with no probs

i use a liteon dvd reader on a raid card so all my drives are masters etc

Burning on the fly won't save you time. It may even take longer. Just do a image to dvd. Burning on the fly is too risky.

I copy on the fly with Nero all the time,never had a coaster.It's the only way I copy Game dvds.
If I remember right Nero will not work if your cd drive and cd burner are on the same IDE channel.They have to be on separate IDE channels for on the fly recording.
About 60 minutes @ x1
About 30 minutes @ x2
If I'm copying @ x2 I use Verbatim media.
