Default SW EP 2 Converting Problems

I have recently got hold of the DIVX version of Ep2 in two parts... When i got to Encode it with TMP it wont support the file format ?? any ideas anyone im well stuck..

What is the error?? Does it play in windows media player, etc.

Because the 2 CD version I have is XviD not DivX.... it also has AC3 audio.

Well, I would go as far as to say it MUST be XviD. You still didn't say what error you got or if it played ok.

If you try to open an XviD AVI in VDub then it would give you an error Couldn't locate compressor for format 'XVID' (Unknown)

If so then just install the XviD codec, preferably a fairly recent build.
