Default Best Audio Available on a VCD

sponsored links

If I rip a DVD & convert it to VCD, with the intention of creating a VCD movie with Nero, what is the best audio quality possible?

I am hoping AC3 is possible, but suspect that Dolby 2.0 is as good as it gets...

If you want AC3 then use DivX, etc. or DVD for VCD you only have one choice. 2 Channel 224 kbit/sec MPEG-1 Layer2. Well ok I think you can also use MPEG-1 Layer1.

Use BeSweet or HeadAC3e to downmix and convert to a dolby2 mp2 stream. That way if you have a Prologic2 amp you will still get surround sound.
