network help

can anyone tell me step by step how to connect my pc to my xbox
in win 98 i had it connected with win 2000 ok but i decided to install
win98 and now i dont know how to get it connected
everything on the xbox side of things is ok
i just dont know how to use the network settings in win 98
anyone please help
ps my xbox network settings are the same as those in the faq
