what firmware version are you on? also, did you use verification after the burn? I'm not convinced until i hear that verification was used.

Looks like the 4x speed DVD-R are fine , just received an email from a customer who received his discs today and as tried them........

Just to let you know I received my 4X Datawrite DVD-R's this morning,the one I've tried simulated/burnt/and verified without any problems,played back excellent in my Pioneer DVD 105,Pioneer 106S and my Mustek DVD 520 standalone DVD player.

Things are looking good !!!
15 min. to burn a full DVD !

Psmeg,,

when i tried a choice 2x on win 98 the
writing failed after some time,,but when
i tried it under win xp it burnt ok,,,
