Default Which pioneer is best for copying ps2 dvd games? What is the fastest burn method?

sponsored links

It is my understanding that these pioneer dvd burners will burn ps2 games

Pioneer DVR-103/104
Pioneer DVR-A03
DVR 105 DVDR

I am looking to buy a dvd burner that will burn on cheap media like princo since my ps2 modded with magic 3 reads it. I'm thinking about purchasing the pioneer dvr104 since 4x media is so expensive, and since it is better to burn slow anyway (and the prices dropped). Will the dvdr 104 serve my purposes? Is there any difference in the burn quality of the above burners?

Also, can someone tell me the time frame when burning ps2 games? I notice some suppliers offering backups anywhere from $4-6 on generic media. How so if it takes so long to burn? What is the best and fastest method?

What is the difference between a03/a04, and 103/104 models?

Thanks a lot for any responses!

L.

Yes, just get the 104. You usually only want to burn at 1x anyway.

It's 40~50 min for a full 4.7 gig burn.

Yes, Prassi works well. Make sure you have the pxengine update for it.
Or get record max, exact same thing

yes most on these boards are going to say prassi, but you can also use nero.

The ao3/ao4 and 103/104 are the same drive, the 1 designates it for retail sale with software and the A designation is barebone oem drive, the 105 is the latest pioneer drive out right now, but doesn't really offer much over the 03/04.
