Default How to burn a bin file [IBM ; PIII 800 MHz; winME]

sponsored links

Hi Guys,

I just dowbnloaded a bin file ( PC Game Image file) about 675 MB file and I want to burn it using either Nero 5.5.8.2 or Roxio 5.1d on my PIII 800 MHz Windows me machine.

If I select the option of creating a cd from an image file the only extension option I get is for either .ISO or .CUE but I have neither such file.

Also is it possible to create a cue file associated to my .bin file based on my file path name etc. Please help.

Thanks in advance.

Naser.

You can select any file you want.. also if you are talking about Nero, then NRG should also be an option. Just change the file types to *.* then you can select your BIN, IMG or whatever.

I think that you will need a .CUE file that normally comes with the .bin file.

Then select the cue file using nero and that should then burn it as a cuesheet. Thats the way I burned a game i downloaded and it played perfectly on the PSX.

for the cue file just search for it and its normally less than 1kb i think and then choose that cue file, remembering that u need that original bin file.

Default Success

It worked out guys I used Nero to burn that image file. I selected the bin file itself and checked the CD as Raw data mode and that bin file burned okay the game is now working fine.

Thanks for all your help.
