Unhappy Diff btwn Princo-Verbatim-CDR

sponsored links

I just bought a brand new premod P2 with a Messiah 2 chip. I got 4 games on Prcinos and bought one a CDR. When I play the games there is a lot of noise going in the machine, seems like the laser is at work, especially with the CDR. I was wondering is that normal, whats the normal noise level.

Will this damage my PS2, should I not play CDR's or should I just buy Princo or Verbatim. What should I do to keep my Playstation 2's life long lasting. Any info would be appreciated. Thank you.

princo is rubbish... dont use it if you want your laser to last...

ive heard verbatim is good, but i cant say the same, as none that ive done will boot is (cd-r) verbatim dvd-r seems very good though, but expensive..

i always use the black bottommed traxdata cd-rs, they work great and arent noisy..

another thing that im not sure if its media related.. i have a v7 magic 2 chipped console, and when i use datasafe cd-r the "playstation 2" logo is always blueish, and not solid.. when i use traxdata its always pure white...

possibly quality related??

Well I the sellers I know they either sell princo, verbatim , or CDR PS2 backups. I heard its upto the system on how it responds to the media, People say that Princo is either a hit or a miss. I have a Messiah 2, the princos work fine.

well i have a magic 2, and silvers will work fine.. but im pretty sure that after using them for a long time that they will desrtoy the laser, so i dont bother..

princos are about 13 for 100... they cant be that good for your ps2..

verbatims are good.. i just have no luck with them!
