Default 98 Network wont work??

I have two win 98 computers at work i am trying to connect for file transfer & internet sharing. I have tried different guides but still with no luck. Can anyone give me a good guide??

get win me m8, I`m not sure about 98, but me has a network wizard and dont 4-get the cat 5 cable m8
